Salam Tokyo uses the name, email address, inquiry topic and message you provide to respond to your inquiry. Messages are delivered through Resend to info@salam-tokyo.com. We do not use inquiry details for marketing without your agreement.
The site is hosted on Vercel. Auth0 provides editorial login and uses necessary session cookies. Only the authorized editorial account can manage stories. Uploaded photos and stories are stored in Vercel Blob; drafts are not publicly available.
Language preferences and saved stories are stored in your browser. You can remove them by clearing site data. To limit spam, we temporarily record hashed connection identifiers and request times; contact message contents are not stored in this rate-limit record.

When an article is read in another language, its published text is sent through Vercel AI Gateway to Google Gemini for automatic translation. Translations are stored for reuse. Contact messages and unpublished drafts are not sent for translation.
Journey enquiries may include your travel month, group size, budget, dining preferences and prayer-break wishes. These optional details are sent through Resend to prepare a reply and a journey proposal. The food checker only supports vegan and halal checks against our published records; Fireworks AI matches restaurant names and questions to those records. We store usage counters, not question text, in our usage ledger. Google Maps links may be resolved by Google. The map loads Google Maps services, which receive your IP address and standard browser information. Google’s privacy policy applies. We do not request your device location.
When you search Google Maps here, your search words, selected food preferences, map area and display language are sent to Google. Opening a place requests its business information from Google. We keep limited request counters and hashed connection identifiers to prevent excessive usage; we do not save your search text in these counters. Google Maps content is displayed separately from our own menu evidence.
The restaurant name or question is sent to Fireworks AI. Do not enter personal information.
For Plus, Auth0 verifies your account. We send your email address and a pseudonymous account identifier to Stripe to create checkout and manage your subscription. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and are not stored by Salam Tokyo. We store Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, payment status, billing-period dates and usage counters in private Vercel storage to provide access and prevent duplicate purchases. We do not store your search words in these membership records. The operator is bakerization株式会社. For access, correction, cancellation or deletion requests, contact info@salam-tokyo.com; records needed for accounting or disputes may be retained as required.
The shop currently accepts no orders or payments. Product IDs and quantities saved in your bag are stored only in this browser. They are not stock reservations. Product inquiries use the contact form and its privacy terms.
