Asakusa works well as a half-day built around one confirmed meal. These two choices give halal and vegan travelers different starting points around Senso-ji and the station.
Plan your meal around the place
Make the temple your central stop and use a restaurant as the next destination. The Honolu branch is north of the main sightseeing area; Marugoto is on the station side. Avoid walking the same streets twice by checking the route before setting off. Keep snack purchases separate from your main-meal plan: a familiar-looking sweet is not enough evidence about ingredients.

2. Marugoto Vegan Dining Asakusa

Before you go
Vegan and halal are separate questions. Ask about the exact dish, alcohol-based seasonings, stock and shared equipment where relevant. These notes summarize published information checked on 27 October 2026; they are not an on-site inspection or a certification issued by Salam Tokyo. Menus, hours and access can change.
Route links open Google Maps so you can compare the current journey. We do not publish guessed walking times. A wider-area alternative is identified in the planning notes.
