The August 2026 official explanation says principal ingredients are plant-derived, including the separate basil tartar-style sauce. It also explicitly says the product is not intended for strict vegans and notes shared manufacturing and preparation.
The company and its food concept
MOS Food Services operates MOS Burger and develops menu alternatives for customers with different dietary preferences. Its 2026 launch introduced an avocado-and-basil burger with a rice-flour blend bun and a renewed soy patty.
What the menu evidence supports
Menu to look for: Avocado Basil Burger with a rice-flour blend bun (2026); not intended for strict vegans.
We retain the narrower plant-based label because the published definition or preparation limits need checking against your requirements. It is not an unrestricted vegan guarantee.

How to order and what to ask
Ask for the full product name, not just a soy-patty substitution. A rice-flour blend bun is not a gluten-free claim: this bun also contains wheat. The older Green Burger announcement is historical context, not the current ordering reference.
- The statement covers principal ingredients; ask about processing aids.
- Shared preparation equipment may be used. Check with the branch.
- Availability and recipes can vary by branch and season.
Keep vegan and halal checks separate
Halal status remains unconfirmed in this guide. A vegan recipe alone does not establish alcohol-free preparation or halal certification. If avoiding a particular ingredient is essential, describe that ingredient directly to the branch and ask about sauces, stock and shared equipment. We have not conducted an on-site inspection or an allergy assessment.
