A practical food-communication tool for MIMARU guests

MIMARU’s FOOD SAFE PASS can help guests discuss food requirements. Learn what the card does and what to ask separately.

MIMARU announced a card called FOOD SAFE PASS with Kyocera's matoil service in March 2026. It combines an allergen checklist with a QR link to information about Japanese food labels.

Before you go

For a family managing allergies alongside religious dietary needs, the card may help start a more specific conversation at a restaurant. It is not evidence that a dish is halal or suitable for an individual allergy. Explain those requirements separately and ask staff what they can accommodate. Before your stay, ask your MIMARU property whether the card is available and what language support it provides.
